When George Asher fell at home and fractured his right ankle, he chose Life Care Center of Andover, Kansas, for his rehabilitation.

David Fowler had a speedy recovery from his total hip replacement surgery, thanks to therapy at Life Care Center of Andover, Kansas.

Fowler came to the skilled nursing and rehabilitation center on Aug. 5, 2016, needing help regaining his independence before he could return home safely. When he got there, he needed a walker to get around and had to have someone walk beside him to steady him.

Life Care Center of Andover holds open house

Life Care Center of Andover, Kansas, held an open house on June 23, 2016, to show off its recent renovations.

Caseworkers, physicians and people from the surrounding community were invited to tour the facility and build relationships while enjoying a buffet prepared by the dietary department. The buffet included finger sandwiches, cheese and crackers, meatballs, little smokies, fruit and crudité. Refreshments included punch, tea and coffee.

On Sept. 26, 2016, Ernest Williams came to Life Care Center of Andover for rehabilitation after having surgery for a thoracic aortic aneurysm.

When she arrived, Williams needed assistance with her mobility and balance. She also needed help with her activities of daily living, including managing his medications, getting dressed, bathing and taking care of her hygiene.
